what is this?

“Life is an Art Gallery”

Nobody actually said that, as far as I know, but I thought I’d put it in quotes.

This is an art exhibition. But in this art exhibition all the works of art are wrapped around 3D eggs. But unlike normal 3D eggs, these exist in the ether, somewhere between the digital world and the real world.

sounds amazing!… what does it mean?

Ahhh, I thought you’d ask.

AUGMENTED REALITY! (or AR for short)

It’s like looking at a screen, but this time you don’t need to be stuck at home, you interact out in the fresh air and see 3D things, through your camera lens as if they were there in real life!

but, why?

For an excuse to get out in the open air, go for a walk, a mission if you like, and also to view an art in places you wouldn’t normally see art.

Revitalise your creative juices, breathe in the country air!

sounds complex.. do I need an amazing phone or download an app?

It’s pretty complicated for us, but not for you! Its easy as a walk in the park!

You will need a smartphone, with internet access, with some old operating models  pre 2019 not compatible. But most phones it works fine! It will work on tablets and iPad’s as well.

AND the really easy part is, you don’t need to download anything.

Just buy a ticket, and head there and enjoy!

how do I know if my device is compatible?

Don’t worry. There is a test for you to try to make sure your device is compatible!

NOTE: Android users, annoyingly the tech means sometimes you might need to refresh the viewer a couple of times. Don’t blame us! Blame google! But, none the less, the adventure and culture isn’t ruined by this momentary refresh.
